Rink Tote 2.0
Ever since we first introduced the original Rink Tote to the figure skating world back in 2010, our focus has always been to offer skaters an easy organization of their in-rink essentials while keeping their spirits up with its iconic style in various color palettes and material choices. It was an instant hit, and soon it went on to become a common fixture at any rink all over the world while creating a new product category in the process.
Certain things have changed since then, both on and off the ice. For one, CDs seem to be mostly gone by now, and definitely more people are carrying their own water bottle these days. This marks the first major design change ever for our signature product, and we wanted to make sure these societal changes would be reflected while maintaining our focus on our brand philosophy; Practicality with Style.
Except only we just took it to a whole new level, inside and out!
From the new 3-compartment structure with better organization and load balance, to the handles you can now “mix and match” to the multi-purpose aluminum utility chain that can be both functional and stylish additions, we thought it all out for you so it helps you get the most out of your precious time on the ice while sitting pretty and cheering for you (silently) from the board day in, day out.

Practicality
Some of the frequent criticisms we received for the previous version were; a) it was not tall enough if you carry anything bigger than a 12oz water bottle, which would just topple over (or worse, fly out!) at every sharp turn and bump, b) the weight imbalance with only one space divider in place, which means you'd put a tissue box in one side while your water bottle AND all other stuff would have to go into the other side, and c) all organizational pockets were outside of the tote, often resulting as big swellings while also exposing everything you are carrying.
By going with three compartments, not only were we able to achieve much better load balance, but we were also able to create an 8 inch deep triangular space in each corner, one of which should be the perfect designated space for your water bottle where it can fit in comfortably and snugly.
Then you can treat the other corner space as one big/deep, all purpose stash pocket, in conjunction with those small flat and stretchy pockets that would hold items tightly in place while staying flat and out of the way when they are empty.
The best part is, no more embarrassing big bulging pockets on the outside! Oh, you are welcome!
Style + Personalization
Designing one product for the target audience that spans from toddlers to teenagers to even adult skaters is not easy. And as we all know, bumping into a bunch of people who have the exact same stuff as yours is no fun, especially when this happens 5 to 6 times a week at the rink... even if they are actually your friends.
This is why we’ve always offered many different colors and material choices while still maintaining the cohesive and complementary look and vibe as a whole... which helped us establish this unmistakably our own style we’ve come to be known for over the years.
